Key Responsibilities

• Installation
  • Perform high-quality installations of HVAC systems such as heat pumps, split systems, air conditioning units, and window units.
  • Accurately measure, layout, and fabricate duct systems for new installations.
  • Connect and test wiring, piping, and components to ensure system functionality.
• Service and Maintenance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to maximize system performance and efficiency.
  • Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and provide prompt, professional resolutions.
• Customer Interaction
  • Provide clear, professional communication about diagnoses, repairs, and installation processes.
  • Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options with transparent, upfront cost estimates.
  • Sell system upgrades and enhancements, earning commissions and bonuses for exceeding customer expectations.
• Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company policies during installations and repairs.
  • Maintain proper documentation for each job, including service reports and equipment specifications.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and best practices to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to relocate to Kentucky
• Experience
  • 4+ years in HVAC Installation, service, and maintenance with focus in Residential work
  • Experience with light commercial HVAC systems is a plus.
• Skills
  • Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong communication and sales skills to explain options and close upgrade opportunities.
  • Familiarity with Trane and other leading brands is preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications
  • Journeyman's License in the state of KY is a requirement
  • Journeyman's License in reciprocal states Louisiana, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia accepted or the willingness to obtain.
  • Universal EPA Certification (Required).
  • HVAC/R Certification or equivalent (Preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Attributes
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
