Quality Specialist

AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in quality related role or system. Experience in food quality. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Salary for this position ranges between $50,000-$60,000 and is dependent on education and experience.

Insight Global is looking to hire a Quality Specialist for a client of ours in the Idaho Falls, ID area.

Below are general responsibilities:

• Responsible for all quality related operations of the lab including but not limited to:
• Keeping track of and maintaining equipment & lab instruments, lab certificates, maintenance checks/deadlines.
• Consumable sterilization (media, pipe petting heads)
• Certificates of analysis
• Accreditation for the lab
• Non conformances - Complete investigations (tracking, documentation, etc)
• Communication with external vendors and internal quality team/leaders.
