The Computer Science Department at the University of Idaho seeks a tenure track assistant professor commencing Fall 2025 to support the growth and development of our cybersecurity programs. We will consider candidates from any area of cybersecurity, with an earned PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related area, evidence of the ability to grow a cutting-edge, strong, externally funded interdisciplinary research program, and evidence of strong teaching capability. Cybersecurity is a priority for the Computer Science Department, the University of Idaho, and the State of Idaho. In 1999the University of Idaho was one of the first seven institutions in the country to be designated an Academic Center of Excellence for Cyber Defense education by the National Security Agency.
