Job Description

You will install and configure servers, computers, networks, and software, monitor and optimize system performance to ensure that all systems run efficiently and without interruption. You will also implement firewalls and anti-virus programs and help to regularly update our security lines to minimize hacking and data loss.

In the event of system failures or technical problems, you will support us in troubleshooting and help to ensure that our systems are up and running again quickly.

You regularly make backups to minimize data loss, restore the data promptly if necessary, and thus help to keep our business running continuously.

You will also support our employees with technical problems or questions and help to ensure the smooth operation of the IT systems.

What you bring along

• University degree in computer science, IT traineeship or career changer
• Strong analytical and logical thinking as well as an independent way of working
• In-depth knowledge of the technologies we use: Microsoft Active Directory with GPO, DNS and DHCP; Microsoft 365 and Exchange; Microsoft Terminal Server with FSLogix, Gateway and 2FA; Microsoft Azure; Microsoft SQL Server; SonicWall with VPN, NAT, IPS, GAV and DHCP; Dell Wyse Management and Dell ThinClients; Openstack
• You live near Ahrensburg and are willing to help us on-site with IT support, in exceptional cases also on weekends
• You stay cool-headed and act calmly and reliably, even in challenging situations
