The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. The position includes cleaning and maintaining buildings and facilities, following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage, and notifying the manager concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems. Effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors are essential. The role also involves complying with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures. Tasks include cleaning and dusting furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment; moving cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas; cleaning interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors; washing and replacing blinds; gathering and emptying trash; sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, removing snow, or performing other incidental seasonal tasks; wiping and cleaning tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas; and servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms. Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older, no experience required, and on-the-job training provided. No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience, 1 year of similar work experience.
