Your Role: As an Alarm Systems Service Technician, you will be integral to our service team, addressing post-installation issues and handling special projects as necessary. This role promises a dynamic work environment where you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to service tickets promptly, ensuring system performance and uptime.
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Execute preventative maintenance to maximize system availability and detect potential faults.
  • Perform routine configuration changes (such as user permissions and application settings).
  • Document all modifications via our digital change control system.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct pre-deployment testing of upgrades and major modifications.
  • Carry out on-site installations of software upgrades and significant modifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with low voltage equipment installation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.
  • Preferred fire alarm experience with Bosch, Silent Knight, Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or similar systems.
  • ESA Certified Alarm Technician and NTS Certified Service Technician preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control systems are a plus.
