What You'll Be Doing:
You will be the face of Coburn Technologies on the ground, directly impacting our clients' success. Your role will include:

• Installation Excellence: Planning, coordinating, and executing smooth product installations, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and seamless integration of systems.
• System Calibration & Troubleshooting: Calibrating systems to precise standards, identifying technical issues, and providing quick solutions in the field.
• Customer Support & Training: Providing expert product knowledge and training to customers, ensuring they fully understand and can effectively use the systems.
• Technical Expertise: Troubleshooting complex issues, upgrading systems in the field, and acting as a liaison between customers, technical support, and our engineering teams.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Partnering with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, share technical insights, and contribute to future product developments.

Travel and Flexibility:
This is a role for someone who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the freedom to travel. You will be expected to travel extensively throughout your assigned territory, with occasional international travel. A company car and maintenance coverage are provided to support your travel needs.

Requirements

Field Service Engineer - What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge in surfacing, coating, and finishing of optical lenses is highly preferred.
• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to think on your feet and apply sound judgment to resolve customer issues in real-time.
• Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Customer-Focused Attitude: A "can do" approach with a passion for providing outstanding service and building long-term customer relationships.
• Experience: At least 5 years of field engineering experience in the ophthalmic lens lab industry, including technical training in electro-mechanical machinery.
• Willingness to Travel: Extensive travel by car and airplane is required, with the ability to work in various locations.
• Certifications: Possession of a valid driver's license, credit card, and passport (for international travel).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move boxes, parts, and assemblies up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in both standing and seated positions for extended periods.
• Must be able to work with tools and electrical components, including manual dexterity for repetitive tasks.
