Job Details

Our client, First Star Safety, is seeking a part-time (15-25 hrs/week) Reservist to oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance for a dynamic project. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise with Deltek accounting software and, ideally, experience in the construction industry. This flexible, part-time role offers the opportunity to provide strategic financial insights and support business leadership. Hourly pay ranges from $50-$99.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a Controller or similar role.
• Proficiency in Deltek is required
• Construction industry experience highly desirable, particularly with job costing and project-based accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• High degree of integrity and professionalism with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
