Job Title: IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Techno-Functional Consultant - QAFocus

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong Quality Assurance (QA) background to join our enterprise Order Management initiative. This role requires deep functional and technical knowledge of IBM Sterling OMS (on-premises), strong integration testing skills with ERP/CRM platforms, and hands-on experience in validating omnichannel capabilities such as BOPIS, SFS, OIS, and marketplace order fulfillment. The candidate will work closely with functional leads, architects, developers, and offshore QA teams to design, execute, and automate comprehensive test plans ensuring high-quality OMS deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Overall Experience: Minimum 12+ years in IT or Supply Chain domain with 7+ years in IBM Sterling OMS (on-premises).
• OMS Functional Expertise: Strong knowledge of order lifecycle management, distributed order management (DOM), inventory visibility, sourcing rules, fulfillment execution, returns management.
• Testing Expertise:
  • Design and execute test scenarios for OMS configurations, pipelines, agents, services, and COM UI customizations.
  • Validate integration flows with ERP (Oracle Fusion, SAP), eCommerce, marketplaces (Amazon), and WMS.
  • Perform functional, system, regression, performance, and integration testing.
  • Utilize test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Client ALM) and automation frameworks.
• Programming & Customization Skills: Java, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, JSP, Dojo, REST APIs.
• Call Center UI Testing: Hands-on validation of COM customizations for usability and functionality.
• IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Techno-Functional Consultant - QA Focus
• Integration Testing: Validate API/batch integrations with external systems ensuring data accuracy, performance, and error handling.
• Deployment & Support: Experience with Git, Docker, Octopus, UNIX/Linux environments; participate in deployment validations and post-release smoke testing.
• Methodology: Agile/Scrum with experience in sprint-based QA cycles and defect triage.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, and proactive issue resolution.

Education:

• Bachelor's in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred:

• Experience in test automation for IBM Sterling OMS using Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Exposure to omnichannel retail testing scenarios including peak load and failover validation.
