We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Technician to support our data management operations. This role is responsible for collecting, processing, and maintaining high-quality data across systems to support business operations and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical proficiency, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to data integrity and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
- Maintain and optimize databases, spreadsheets, and data systems.
- Conduct regular data audits and troubleshoot inconsistencies.
- Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with IT, analytics, and business units to resolve data-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security protocols.
- Document data workflows and maintain version control of datasets.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a data technician, data analyst, or similar role is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with data management platforms, CRM systems, and cloud-based storage.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- Experience with maintaining pricing models is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Epicor ERP's is a plus.
- Experience with WhiteCup is a plus.
