We're working with a leading ecommerce company in North America. They focus on tools and metalworking and are consistently ranked a top place to work. They are based in Chicago and are on a hybrid basis for 2 days in office. Applicants must already by local to Chicago.

This is a SeniorSoftware Engineering position that builds customer identity and authentication systems for their e-commerce platform. You will be coding in Java and JavaScript to build identity platforms from scratch, not just configuring IAM tools. The ideal candidate understands identity protocols like OAuth and OIDC from a developer's perspective, has experience with microservices and cloud architecture, and can troubleshoot critical production issues

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Java and JavaScript, professionally
• Hands on experience building CIAM products/services
• Deep understanding of identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML)
• IAM tools like
