POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Category Management & Sales Analytics will serve as a strategic partner to our Sales teams, Customer and Consumer Insights department, collaborating to drive consumer-centric strategies with our retailers. This role operates squarely at the intersection of analytics and category management and plays a critical role in shaping category strategy through data-driven insights, research and retailer-focused recommendations. The position spans a broader analytics and category management space, acting as the organization's centerpoint advisor for data, ensuring teams have the clarity and direction needed to make informed decisions.

This position reports to the Vice President, Sales Commercialization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and own shopper-based insights work that informs category, aisle, and department merchandising (e.g., Wellness Reinvention, Consumer Panel initiatives).
  • Shape category strategy by leveraging insights, analytics, and research to drive category understanding, and retailer strategy.
  • Act as the objective face of insights to retail customers, delivering clear, actionable perspectives.
  • Develop compelling narratives for key leadership presentations and communication.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales teams on consumer insight needs with customers.
  • Build and apply category management skills and capabilities to support business growth.
  • Lead business analytics work-including model development, competitive landscape analysis, and market dynamics-to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead sales analytics and model development for business analytics, (i.e. competitive landscape analysis, market dynamics).
  • Serve as an advisor and point of contact for secondary data (Circana, POS portals, etc.), ensuring data accuracy, structure, and accessibility for the sales organization.
  • Partner with customer category management team to craft customer-specific strategies and growth plans by leveraging both existing and new primary and secondary inputs.
  • Oversee development and deployment of business analytics to drive performance transparency and decision-making
  • Partner with cross functional teams on retailer point of view for category management, especially innovation, retailer initiatives, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

To take on these challenges, you will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in consumer insights teams within the CPG sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior, market trends, and industry best practices.
  • Experience in Category Management strategy at a large US Retailer preferred
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.

SALARY RANGE

National Target Base Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $133,000 - $221,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
