As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will take a leadership role in designing, scaling, and governing the company's modern data stack. You'll combine hands-on technical ownership with strategic partnership across the business, enabling reliable, high-quality analytics and data-informed decision-making at every level.You will:

  • Own the architecture and governance of the end-to-end data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and best practices.
  • Lead the design and implementation of core data models and ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and experimentation.
  • Drive alignment across teams on data definitions, metrics, and source-of-truth models.
  • Act as a thought partner to leaders across marketing, product, engineering, operations, and finance.
  • Mentor and develop analytics engineers and analysts, raising technical standards and data fluency across the organization.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance, workflows, and query efficiency.
  • Champion best-in-class tooling and practices, including dbt, Airflow, version control, testing, and documentation.
  • Enable self-serve analytics by building scalable data products, dashboards, and exploration tools for business stakeholders.
3. Ideal Background

The ideal candidate is a senior analytics or data professional who enjoys owning complex data systems and influencing how organizations use data.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data architecture roles.
  • Proven experience building and scaling cloud-based data ecosystems using modern tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with strong data modeling and transformation skills.
  • Experience defining and operationalizing data governance, data quality frameworks, and performance tuning practices.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to collaborate across functions and seniority levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data challenges into clear business insights.
  • Ownership-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
4. Preferred
  • Experience supporting self-serve analytics and experimentation frameworks.
  • Background working in consumer, subscription, or operationally complex businesses.
  • Strong alignment with mission-driven or sustainability-focused organizations.
5. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $151,000 - $166,000 USD base, depending on experience.
  • Work Model: Fully remote within the United States.
