Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a TRU Waste AKE/ Project Chemist to work in our Waste Management Program. Our team works a 9 x 80 schedule located out of our Research and Education Center (REC) in our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. You will support facilities, operations and R&D programs in the identification and implementation of transuranic waste and environmental requirements to ensure compliance with applicable rules which may include support of regulatory interpretations, resolution of potential or actual compliance issues, and gathering and reporting of data. You will report to the manager for Waste Management Program. Responsibilities: Identify environmental and waste management requirements to ensure compliance with DOE Orders, Federal and State regulations, and various standards (i.e., ANSI, ISO 14001, NESHAP, etc. and DOE Directives, Guides, and Handbooks).
