Network Operations Center Analyst (100% Remote/EST Hours/Contract to Hire)

Optomi, in partner with a major client is seeking an experienced Network Operations Center Analyst to join their team. This person will help in resolving high priority tickets, network troubleshooting, working with various teams to escalate issues as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Network troubleshooting- both Cisco and Juniper experience
• Layer 1-3 network troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Answering requests for port connectivity and provisioning new connections
• Closing out ServiceNow tickets
• Any X.25 or RS232 protocol experience is preferred (not a must have)
• Maintain excellent acknowledgement and response time to alarms and customer calls
• Provide high quality documentation of network failures and maintenance activity.
