Senior Claims Specialist - Commercial General Liability
FULLY REMOTE or 3 days from NYC
$130,000 - $150,000 base + 15% bonus

A leading insurance carrier is hiring a Senior Claims Specialist for their General Liability team. This is a senior-level technical role handling complex Commercial General Liability claims across premise liability, slip & falls, product liability and other BI areas. You will manage mid to high-exposure claims from first notice through resolution, with a strong focus on coverage analysis, litigation strategy, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex CGL claims including premises liability, slip & fall, auto liability, product liability and other wide ranging bodily injury cases
• Lead coverage investigations and draft detailed coverage position letters independently
• Manage litigated files, coordinating defense counsel and driving strategy through to resolution
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement exposure on higher-severity claims
• Maintain strong relationships with brokers, insureds, attorneys, and internal stakeholders

• 5+ years of Commercial General Liability claims experience (premise/product/auto/slip & falls etc.)
• Strong exposure to coverage interpretation and other coverage matters
• Experience within reinsurance highly beneficial
• Background with a reputable carrier or law firm
• Bachelor's degree required; industry designations (AIC, CPCU, etc.) are a plus

• Competitive base salary ($130,000 - $150,000) + 15% annual bonus
