Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group, partnered with an established information services organization, is in search of a Sr. Contract Manager to lead the end-to-end contracting process. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, redlining, and negotiating agreements while ensuring everything stays in lockstep with corporate legal requirements and policies. This role is a mix of high-level workflow management and meticulous record-keeping, acting as a vital bridge between legal, vendors, and internal business units. Responsibilities:

  • Workflow & Process Management: Oversee the preparation of legal documents and optimize contracting standards from initial request to final execution.
  • Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Revise documents to meet corporate requirements, negotiate with third parties, and collaborate with attorneys on complex drafting.
  • Obligation & Renewal Tracking: Advise management on contract commitments and maintain a rigorous system for tracking renewal notice dates.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal departments and vendor legal representatives to ensure business needs are met.
  • Data & Records Management: Organize, track, and maintain all executed agreements and report on statistical data to facilitate corporate planning.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 5-7 years of contract management experience (reviewing, writing, redlining, and negotiating) in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Paralegal certification or experience is a significant plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and familiar with standard contract administration procedures.
  • Superior written/verbal communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills with a customer-oriented approach to internal partnerships.
