A company is looking for a Vice President of Compliance (Remote).Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirementsConduct continuous monitoring of controls for key processes and serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodiesBuild and lead a high-performing Compliance team, providing strategic advice to senior leadership on compliance mattersQualifications:10 years of previous compliance or audit experience required, preferably in education or nonprofit industriesMinimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience requiredDemonstrated success in professional/life experience in relevant job functions, with military service as a substitute for formal educationProven track record in building or transforming a compliance function in a complex, highly regulated environmentStrong background leading compliance responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, or investigations
